Safety Trainer / Resource

Barbara Bluemel holds the position of Human Resources Manager within both the Human Resource Services and Human Resource Information & Solutions divisions at MRA. She has over 20 years of broad, generalist experience as a human resources professional. In her role at MRA Barbara works with a variety of diverse member companies providing onsite human resource assistance as well as responding to member inquiries on benefits, business trends, compensation, compliance issues, employee relations, and wage & salary data. Barbara is also a member of the MRA training team, including SPHR/PHR, FMLA, benefits, etc., and is a facilitator for our roundtables.

Prior to MRA, Barbara held management positions in a nonprofit healthcare organization and for-profit finance industry. Her other work experiences include the service industry, as well as an internationally owned manufacturing firm with multiple sites and labor organizations. Her background specializes in a broad HR Generalist role, which includes experience in benefits administration, compensation, employee relations, labor, recruitment, training, and worker’s compensation.

Barbara works full-time at MRA assisting member companies to find solutions to their human resources issues and is certified as Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County.
