Bill Bonham

Bill’s work in safety, sales, and extensive training experience mean that he’s seen or done it all. He brings those insights into companies and the classroom with an enthusiasm that Captivates audiences. Having worked at all levels within organizations, Bill is as comfortable in the breakroom as in the boardroom. He can relate to anyone from senior management to union stewards, from team leaders and supervisors to direct reports.

With Bill’s expertise in safety and his experience in training, including certification as an OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer, he has:

  • Helped organizations make good business decisions, update processes, and eliminate waste through training in quality and productivity initiatives such as Kaizen and lean manufacturing.
  • Facilitated safety teams within organizations of all sizes, including global corporations.
  • Dramatically reduced lost time accidents through training and process alteration.
  • Reengineered process improvement flows to better integrate safety.
  • Expanded organizational approaches toward lean and quality processing from “5S” to “6S,” by incorporating safety as the sixth key element in high performing work teams.
  • Equipped leaders and managers with the tools they need to fully engage and motivate direct reports through the Leadership for Group Leaders, Principles of Management, and Applied Leadership series.
  • Equipped teams to work collaboratively toward strategic and tactical goals through the Leading Effective Teams class and Building Effective Teams series.

Bill has a bachelor’s in education with minors in English and psychology. He’s also in demand as a keynote and breakout session speaker for professional development conferences.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resource and Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has done additional work toward a master’s degree.
